Remember when you finally realized that just because you were using a ruler, it didn't mean your line was straight? I have been mounting a lot of my art work the last two days and while I was measuring an inch from the photo on each side so as to line up my ruler and create a straight line, I thought about how I used to think that using a ruler meant that I would have a straight line. I found it so confusing when creating a square that came out all wonky because my lines were at different angles. It's a good thing my brain expanded from that capacity and understands geometry and angles now.
